Fragments of the past flashing back and forth

Moments held in time on a silver thread
Reality a glance away;I look through the haze.
With a glimmer of hope I set towards forbidden territories...

Have I sinned? or did I set my heart free?
No one knows but the Almighty.

Knee deep in vain I wage across the sea of pain.
With waves of agony lashing at my body,
I welcomed the wind with open arms
to be swept away..

...faraway from dreams unsure
how long will I survive,
will I make it....

Dark and gloomy the world may seem,
but your thoughts will guide me through
Unless they fade to nothing...
Is this how it all ends...
